Rather than resisting what arises, we can learn how to stay with it, moment by moment. In this space, the nervous system can begin to soften out of survival and into regulation.
Over time, the body remembers its natural rhythm.

What to expect during a Somatic Healing Session
Come as you are. Wear comfortable clothing.
Expect to be met with a welcoming presence where you are allowed to unfold, deepen, laugh, cry, sit in stillness, look inward, pause, slow down, and notice.
Through somatic and crainosacral techniques, I will guide your nervous system and its inherent intelligence towards the regulated state that is home to your body.

Living with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) profoundly shaped my relationship with my body, my nervous system, and my sense of self. Throughout my teenage years and into adulthood, I experienced a deep detachment from my physical and emotional body, as though my body was something separate from me rather than an integral part of who I am.
Somatic therapy transformed my understanding of healing by working with my body’s inherent intelligence, specifically, the nervous system. I learned that healing is something that already exists within me, waiting to be accessed through safety, awareness, and compassion. I began to experience my body as a source of wisdom, resilience, and healing.
I hope that you, too, can come home to your body and find healing from within.
